Provisional Licence
A Provisional Licence enables you, the learner driver, to learn to drive a car.
You must have a qualified driver with you who is at least 21 years of age and who has held a full licence in that category for at least three years.
You are not allowed to drive on a motorway unless you are a learner lorry or bus driver or learning to drive a car and trailer (B+E).
